Company History       



Mr. Darby Cannon, Jr. founded CANNON REALTY, INC. in Lavonia, Georgia
in 1954.  Mr. W.M. Gilbert, Jr. purchased the company in 1972 to continue
the tradition of service that was established by Mr. Cannon.  Mrs. Eugena
Stockton purchased the company in 2003 and she will continue the
tradition of excellence and service that was established by
her predecessors.  The office has been located in the same building
in Franklin County since it's inception.

A branch office was opened in Jefferson, Georgia in February, 2001, to serve
the real estate needs in the growing I-85 North Corridor.

The company name was changed to Cannon Realty & Commercial, Inc. on 1/1/2007.

The goal of Cannon Realty & Commercial, Inc. is to maintain our tradition of excellence.
We accomplish this by blending the best of the old with the new.  We
combine traditional values such as integrity, accountability and dedication
with cutting-edge technology, enabling us to provide our clients and customers with the value-added products and services they need to achieve their objectives. This commitment along with our attention to client and customer service has earned us the reputation of being a trustworthy and reliable Real Estate firm.

The company lists & sells real estate in Banks, Barrow, Clarke, DeKalb, Forsyth, Franklin, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Madison, Rabun, Stephens, Walton and surrounding counties in Georgia, concentrating our
efforts on the I-85 north corridor.  Several agents are licensed in South Carolina! We are community minded and involved in efforts to improve life and opportunities in our area and in our communities.
